Bridge Authority

BrokerBridge Authority

A Bridge Authority manages data feeds and requests for the brokerage, the work the Broker of Record would otherwise do. The Broker of Record asks the Member Association to assign that person.

Who can be assigned

The person must be a member of that brokerage and a full member of the association.

Assign a Bridge Authority

  1. The Broker of Record chooses who will act as Bridge Authority.
  2. Email the Member Association. Name the person and ask that they be assigned as Bridge Authority.
  3. Association staff complete the assignment. This is not a self-serve setting in Matrix.

To change or remove a Bridge Authority, email the Member Association again.

What they can do

A Bridge Authority can request and approve feeds for the office, including In-House and vendor agreements started by REALTORS®.

Delegating this work does not move responsibility away from the brokerage. The brokerage and the Broker of Record stay responsible for how MLS® data is used.
