Choose the feed that matches how the data will be used. On the questionnaire, select only the types you need.
IDX
Public advertising of Active listings from participating brokerages. Consumers do not log in. A listing brokerage can refuse IDX display of its listings.
VOW
A password-protected consumer site under a brokerage relationship. Broader than IDX. Not a public listing gallery. Clients need an account before they see VOW content.
A VOW feed may trigger a $1,500 + HST yearly brokerage fee if that fee is not already paid. It is invoiced to the Broker of Record.
Office Active Listings
Only that office’s Active listings, for the brokerage’s own site. Not the multi-brokerage IDX set.
Back Office
Internal office systems such as accounting or administration. Not for a public consumer website.
CFW (Consumer Facing Website)
Advertising-level Active listing data for non-brokerage consumer sites (franchisor sites, portals, city or municipal sites). Listing inclusion needs consent from the listing brokerage or the Member Association.
On Create new agreement, CFW vendors sit under Consumer Facing Website - CFW, including city and municipal agreements. CFW is not In-House.
Tips
- A REALTOR® picks a vendor under Authorized Tech Provider - ATP, then chooses the feed type on the questionnaire.
- A Broker of Record or Bridge Authority can also request CFW, Back Office ATP, or In-House.
- Selecting a type your vendor does not support can cancel the agreement.
