Generate Market Stats in Matrix

Use the STATS tab

1. Open STATS in the top menu.
2. On the right, set the listing search criteria for the market you want (property type, location, status, price, and other fields as needed).

Run a system preset

1. Open the Presets tab on the left.
2. Under System Presets, select a preset.
3. Select Generate.

Build a custom statistic

1. Open the Customize tab on the left.
2. Choose a Time Frame (year to date, past 12 months, a calendar year, past 5 or 10 years, or Custom).
3. Choose a Statistic (sales, list price averages, inventory counts, DOM, ratios, and other measures in the list).
4. Choose Group By to control how values are broken out (month, year, region, municipality, neighbourhood, property type, price, and other options).
5. Optional: open Advanced Options to add a Secondary Statistic so two measures run on the same chart at once. Use Hide Advanced when you are done.
6. Optional: use Style Options to adjust how the chart looks.
7. Select Generate. Switch between Chart and Data to view the result as a graph or table.
8. Optional: select Save to keep the setup for later use from Presets.

Generate stats from a search

You can also start from a listing search. Complete your criteria first — see Search for Listings in Matrix.

Classic Search

1. On Results, leave all listings included, or check only the listings you want stats for.
2. In the bottom actions bar, select Stats.
3. Choose Charts to open the STATS tab with your search criteria already filled in so you can run presets or customize as above.
4. Choose Tabular to generate statistics against the listings from that results set (all results, or only the ones you checked).

New Search

1. On results, leave all listings included, or check only the listings you want stats for.
2. Select Actions (three dots) at the top right, then select Statistics.
3. Matrix opens a market analysis table for the current results (all listings, or only the ones you checked).
