Generate market statistics in Matrix from the STATS tab, or open stats quickly from a search results list.
Use the STATS tab
- Open STATS in the top menu.
- On the right, set the listing search criteria for the market you want (property type, location, status, price, and other fields as needed).
Run a system preset
- Open the Presets tab on the left.
- Under System Presets, select a preset.
- Select Generate.
Build a custom statistic
- Open the Customize tab on the left.
- Choose a Time Frame (year to date, past 12 months, a calendar year, past 5 or 10 years, or Custom).
- Choose a Statistic (sales, list price averages, inventory counts, DOM, ratios, and other measures in the list).
- Choose Group By to control how values are broken out (month, year, region, municipality, neighbourhood, property type, price, and other options).
- Optional: open Advanced Options to add a Secondary Statistic so two measures run on the same chart at once. Use Hide Advanced when you are done.
- Optional: use Style Options to adjust how the chart looks.
- Select Generate. Switch between Chart and Data to view the result as a graph or table.
- Optional: select Save to keep the setup for later use from Presets.
Generate stats from a search
You can also start from a listing search. Complete your criteria first — see Search for Listings in Matrix.
Classic Search

- In the bottom actions bar, select Stats.
- Choose Charts to open the STATS tab with your search criteria already filled in so you can run presets or customize as above.
- Choose Tabular to generate statistics against the listings from that results set (all results, or only the ones you checked).
New Search
- On results, leave all listings included, or check only the listings you want stats for.
- Select Actions (three dots) at the top right, then select Statistics.
- Matrix opens a market analysis table for the current results (all listings, or only the ones you checked).
Tips
- Use Clear on the Customize tab if you need to reset the statistic setup.
