# Switch between Classic and New Home in Matrix

You can switch between Classic Home and New Home in Matrix. New Home uses a responsive layout that makes better use of your screen.

## Switch to New Home

1. Open the Utility Menu (look for \[Hello, *Your Name*\] at the top right).
2. Turn the Classic Mode switch off.
3. When Switching to New Mode appears, select Go to New Home.

New Home loads as a dashboard of cards. The layout is dynamic: widgets reflow as you resize your window so you can use the full width of your screen. Use Edit Home to choose and arrange widgets — see [Edit New Home in Matrix](https://support.itsosystems.ca/kb/110).

## Switch back to Classic Home

1. Open the Utility Menu (look for \[Hello, *Your Name*\] at the top right).
2. Turn the Classic Mode switch on.
3. When Switching to Classic Mode appears, select Go to Classic Home.
